Each store has their own coupon policy- and sometimes it all gets jumbled together in the ole couponing brain!  Here’s a handy guide to remind you about the current coupon policies out there:

❥Note: although the corporate policy does not allow for competitor coupons, many of our Chattanooga/Ooltewah/Cleveland area stores have been told by their District manager to accept *3* competitor coupons per transaction.  This does NOT include “$5 Off $25″-type coupons.

• Bi-Lo does not honor any other store ads or any other grocery/drug stores coupons*.

• In order to double coupons, you must have a “BonusCard”. Bi-Lo will double any MFR coupons up to $.60 in face value unless the manufacture coupon states otherwise (they sometimes doubles, sometimes not).  The doubled value cannot exceed the price of the item.  On like items, the limit of “doubled” coupons is 10.

• Bi-Lo will accept manufacture coupons that are printed off of the internet.

• Bi-Lo allows you to use a manufacture and a Bi-Lo store coupon on any of their BOGO specials. (If you are buying (2), use (2) coupons!!) You do NOT have to buy 2 to get the BOGO price of half off.

• Bi-Lo does not have a limit of coupons (manufacture or store) you can redeem.

• Senior Citizens get 5% Off on Wednesday!

• Does not honor any other store ads.

• Publix does honor competitor coupons (each Publix has their own list of acceptable “competitors”, but as a rule of thumb, it is usually a nearby grocery, and sometimes includes drugstores and Target as well.)

• Accepts Manufacturer’s coupons and will double all coupons 50¢ or under- up to, but not exceeding, the price of the item.  Competitor coupons are not doubled.

• Accepts internet printable coupons.

• Publix allows you to use manufacturer + Publix store/Competitor store coupons – but not all 3 together.

• Food Lion does not honor any other store ads or any other grocery/drug store coupons.

• Food Lion does not double coupons at all. However, Food Lion does offer a limited number of store item coupons weekly which can be used to maximize your savings. Food Lion will only allow you to use “one store coupon per day, per item, per MPV Savers Card”.

• Food Lion will accept any manufacturer coupons that are printed off of the internet, however they do reserve the right to reject any print at home/internet coupons that are altered or does not scan properly.

• Food Lion allows you to use a manufacture and FLIPs on any of their buy-one-get-one-free specials.

• No limit on manufacture coupons which you can redeem.

• Target accepts 2 kinds of coupons: Target-issued and manufacturer-issued.

• Can stack one Target coupon + one manufacturer coupon for the same item, unless either coupon prohibits it.

• No overage, if the face value of a coupon is greater than the purchase value of item, the cashier will adjust down.  (At the Gunbarrel road Target, they would not do this for me!)

• Does NOT accept competitor coupons.

• NEW: If you bring in the FULL AD for a competitor store, Target will price match the exact same item.  Take it to customer service for price-matching.
