The friendly cashier at my CVS told me today that they have done away with the CVS Extra Value Book (I hadn’t noticed) and replaced that with a the CVS Clipfree Coupon Book full of CVS store coupons.  This is good for 2 reasons:

  1. We can use these month-long coupons in conjuction with weekly sales and manufacturer coupons to make for some really good deals!
  2. If Publix or Bi-Lo will accept these coupons as competitor coupons, then hooray!!!

Just off the top of my head, the only ones that look kind of fun for use as competitor coupons are some for Glade, Speed Stick, Tylenol, Excedrin, Always Infinity, and Stayfree.  For a full list of May’s CVS Coupons, go here.

In other news, the CVS on Keith St. in Cleveland, has a cart full of 75% OFF deodorant, including Axe, Dove, Right Guard, Speed Stick(possibly use with the CVS Coupon Book Q?), Mitchum, Old Spice and Gillette!  The items range from $0.50- $1.50 and would be a great way to use up some of those deodorant coupons before they expire!!
