Unfortunately, that $5/25 coupon states on the front that the $25 must be AFTER all coupons and discounts have been applied for the transaction. So your scenario would not work.
However, I saw Southern Savers has a scenario that does work, it is a high out of pocket but you end up with only $1 and some change once you get all your register rewards back.
Aww man! You know what, I totally knew that last time this coupon came out, and this time I got so excited I just skipped right over hte fine print. Sorry guys!
